As Followers of Jesus, We Need to Hear His Voice Daily

His words are spirit and life. He desires to speak to us every day.

That’s why I want to challenge you: for the next seven days, take time daily to pause and listen for His voice. Not to entertain ourselves or come up with something to do, but to align our hearts with the will of Jesus.

Day One Challenge

Today we begin listening. You can do this while walking, cycling, at home, or even while driving.
Start by giving words to what’s on your heart and share that with Jesus.
After a short or long moment, you’ll find yourself finished speaking. The things that matter to you, you’ve been able to share.

Now you can ask the following question:

Then take time to listen. Keep listening until you’ve received at least one impression (“I feel like…,” “I have the sense that…,” “It keeps coming to mind that…”)
Share your response to that impression with Jesus. He loves being in conversation with you!
